President

Carter Page

Carter Page

Carter is majoring in Business Administration and Journalism. His campus involvement includes the Carolina Sports Consulting Group, Tar Heel Alpha, a marketing club, and a pre-law fraternity. This summer, Carter will join Procter & Gamble for a sales internship, ultimately aiming to earn his MBA and become an athletic director at a Division I university. Formerly Pi Kappa Alpha’s External Vice President and Recruitment Chair, Carter now leads IFC as President.

VP of Internal Affairs

Nicholas Byers

Nicholas Byers

Nicholas is a Computer Science and Psychology major with a Business Administration minor. He is involved in Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity, Diverse Abilities in Business, the Carolina Union Activities Board, the National Residence Hall Honorary, and the UNC Figure Skating Club. Previously, he served as Vice President of Judicial Affairs, Vice President of Administration, and Philanthropy and Social Media Chair. He plans to pursue a career in software engineering or data analytics.

Harrisen Ulrich

Harrisen Ulrich

Harrisen is a Business major with a Spanish minor. He is part of the Undergraduate Finance Society and the Portfolio Management Team. Previously, he served as Rush Chair. After graduation, he plans to work in finance.

VP of Finance

Max Andrews

Max Andrews

Max is a Business Administration major with a second major in Computer Science and a minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. He is in the Undergraduate Finance Society, Asset and Wealth Management Club, Carolina Consulting Club, and Marketing Club. He previously held the position of Recruitment Chairman and now serves as Social Chairman on his chapter's executive board.

Landis Haynes

Landis Haynes

Landis is an Economics major with a second major in Data Science. He is actively engaged in the UNC Undergraduate Consulting Club, AI Consulting Club, UNC Christians in Business, Moneythink Club, Kay Blada Recycling Club, and the Carolina Barbell Club. Upon graduating, he plans to pursue a career in strategy or management consulting. In Sigma Nu, he currently serves as Philanthropy Chair and previously held the role of Social Chair.

Robert Michel

Robert Michel

Robert is an Economics major with a History minor. He is active in both the Undergraduate Real Estate Club and the Carolina Sports Business Club. As VP of Community Enrichment, Robert focuses on cultivating service and philanthropic efforts among chapters. After graduation, he plans to pursue a law or graduate degree. Within Phi Gamma Delta, Robert is dedicated to fostering strong ties between fraternity life and the broader community.

Alexander Yrosch

Alexander Yrosch

Alec is a Public Policy major from Charlotte, NC. He is the co-leader of the Juvenile Justice Youth Initiative and the head finance chair for the Teens4Teens nonprofit organization. He plans to pursue a Masters in Public Policy and attend law school.

VP of Public Relations

Andrew Davis

Andrew Davis

Andrew is a junior majoring in Exercise and Sport Science (Sport Administration) and Advertising/Public Relations, with a minor in Coaching Education. He is an active member of the UNC Sport Administration Club. He aspires to use his passion for athletics to secure a position with a collegiate or professional sports team. Within Pi Kappa Phi, he currently serves as Standards Board Chairman, and previously held the roles of Archon (President) and Historian.

VP of Development

Quinn McGuire

Quinn McGuire

Quinn majors in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Chinese. He stays involved through Club Soccer, the Carolina Health Samaritan Society, and as a scout team player for the UNC Women’s Varsity Soccer Team. After UNC, he aims to attend medical school. His prior roles in Beta Theta Pi include Risk Manager and Fire Marshal.

    • To function as the chief executive officer and preside over all meetings of the IFC General Body and Executive Committee. 

    • To see that the provisions of the constitution and bylaws are enforced.

    • To convene the IFC in special sessions and to call meetings of the Executive Committee. 

    • To represent the IFC as its principal spokesman. 

    • To attend weekly meetings with the Director or Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life. 

    • To attend scheduled meetings of the University Committee on Greek Affairs.

    • To cast the final vote in the event of a tie. 

    • To build rapport and establish positive working relationships between IFC and Member Fraternity leaders. 

    • To establish a working relationship with key University administrators.

    • To attend monthly meetings with the council presidents and the Assistant Director of the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life.

    • To oversee all aspects of recruitment for IFC fraternities. 

    • To educate member fraternities on recruitment techniques through programs.

    • To budget the costs for IFC-sponsored events during the IFC recruitment period.

    • To create recruitment literature (brochures, post-cards, etc.).

    • To coordinate discussions concerning recruitment for the IFC.

    • To present to the IFC a recruitment schedule each semester in consultation with the Executive Committee and the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life.

    • To secure for IFC member chapters a list of students registered for IFC recruitment. 

    • To assist the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life with presentations each summer at orientation. 

    • To plan and implement a Recruitment Information program at the beginning of each semester, 

    • To assist the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life with collecting recruitment statistics each semester and making these available to the public. 

    • To handle all receipts and expenditures of funds as authorized by the IFC or Executive Committee. 

    • To assess and collect all dues and fines. 

    • To prepare an annual budget, including a complete financial statement of the IFC each semester. 

    • To submit a full report at the end of each academic term/semester of the financial position at that time. 

    • To work closely with the OFSL to devise payment plans for recurring costs

    • To create and assess grant applications and scholarships

    •  To coordinate and execute all large social events that are promoted and funded by the IFC. 

    • To organize service events for chapters to collaborate on

    • To host events and other fundraising efforts for the IFC Scholarship Fund. 

    • To procure space for IFC President and Executive Meetings

    • To organize events to promote better relations between IFC Chapters, the University, and the Chapel Hill community.

    • To provide chapters with intramural sports leagues.

    • To reach out to other greek councils and organizations at UNC to find areas to collaborate on.

    • To establish relationships with organizations in the Chapel Hill Community and find avenues for fraternities to help foster growth in the area. 

    • To act as the Chairman on the IFC Judicial Board. 

    •  To function as the liaison between the IFC and the IFC Judicial Board.

    •  To deliver and explain all decisions by the IFC Judicial Board regarding IFC member fraternities at the scheduled IFC meeting immediately following any decision, consistent with the confidentiality policies of the IFC Judicial Board. 

    • To uphold all the duties outlined for the co-chairperson of the IFC Judicial Board, as outlined by the Bylaws of the IFC Judicial Board. 

    • To provide annual training on the Judicial code to all member chapters 

    • To manage and update the IFC’s public media presence, including but not limited to, the website, Twitter, and Facebook accounts.

    •  To work with chapter presidents to publicize information on philanthropy and any other relevant news. 

    •  To assist the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life in publicizing and disseminating information pertaining to the Greek system as a whole. 

    • To Design and maintain the IFC’s general public image. 

    • To aid the President of the IFC in crafting statements and responses for the media or any other outside organizations. 

    • To serve as spokesperson to outside organizations for general IFC matters, in the event that the President is not available. When said matters pertain to the IFC Judicial Board, the Vice President of Public Relations shall serve as spokesman, in the event that the Vice President of Judicial Affairs is not available.

    • To assist the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life with programs and training relative to social activities, fire safety, and risk management. 

    • To organize the provision of Mental Health Resources to chapters

    • To ensure that every chapter has access to adequate medical supplies

    • To undergo efforts in making member fraternities more sustainable

    • To inform all members of volunteer opportunities within the Chapel Hill community

    • To provide opportunities for networking and professional development
