Kappa Alpha

Kappa Alpha Order (KA) - Upsilon Chapter at UNC has proudly been a part of this institution since 1881. Founded at Washington College (now Washington and Lee University) in 1865, KA upholds ideals of chivalry, honor, and gentlemanly conduct. Our motto, “Dieu et les Dames” (“God and the Ladies”), reflects our commitment to faith, respect and service. A moral compass for the modern genetleman.
