Delta Upsilon

Delta Upsilon (DU) is a distinguished fraternity rooted in a proud tradition of excellence, brotherhood, and lifelong impact. Founded at UNC in 1953, DU has become a cornerstone of campus life, offering a close-knit community for its members while maintaining its place as part of one of the largest collegiate fraternity systems in the country. Nicknamed the “husband fraternity” on campus, DU is generally a 40-50 person fraternity which allows brothers to build closer relationships with each other regardless of age and grade and without the expense of the social life - with weekly brotherhood and date events as well as monthly mixers with surrounding sororities. DU consists of goal-oriented brothers of high character and unwavering commitment to fostering lifelong friendships, personal growth, and a legacy of excellence that transcends their time on campus.
